But, unfortunately, they do not work, not for long. Sure, you lose the few pounds because you had no fat so you ate drastically less calories/you ate low carb so your body goes out of whack and starts to shed weight/you drank nothing but juice for days and despite feeling fainty, that also means you had a LOT less in the way of calories.
The one thing that does work is what has always worked and what will always worked. Eat well. Be active. The downside? It takes more work. It takes longer. But, in time, your body will find its way back to a weight at which you feel comfortable-no gimmicks.
